about

In what is apparently now way back in the day, this Roving Sage made a concerted effort to be a straight up indie rocker.

We were an Athens band, and took this one out to the backwoods in a homey, but fully stocked analog studio.

I told the engineer to make it sound like the Jam's "Sound Affects." You can get back to me if that worked out or not.

We also had Gang of Four, Death Cab For Cutie, and the good old Velvet Underground on the mind. "Figure For Chaos" made us poop ourselves when the engineer wanted to try out his new drum compressor and it came out sounding like the Flaming Lips.
